Its been a while since we last posted, but we’ve been mega busy.
The release of Run From Sirens went incredibly well, (still available on iTunes) and the gigs have been great.
Whilst promoting the single we’ve been doing more acoustic shows, and we thought, ‘why not get some of these versions on record’. So we did.
We’re just finalising the mixes and artwork and it’ll be with you all soon.
There are loads of gigs in the pipeline too so keep checking our gigs page and facebook for all the info.

We have a busy year ahead of us and we hope we can see all of you this year. Our first year as a band was very productive so a big THANK YOU for your support and making it a great 2012. We will update you further as we go throughout the year, but there is some really exciting times ahead in 2013.

We have recorded a couple of new tunes with the excellent Pete Hutchings at Yellow Fish studio and will be touring the record in some excellent venues in February. To start off with a very special acoustic support slot on February 9th with Turin Brakes at the St. Pauls Centre in Worthing. We are huge fans of their work so hopefully it will be a very special evening. Tickets can be bought here http://www.wegottickets.com/event/182731

Hey everyone

It’s Movember this month. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
We’re taking part sprouting moustaches effectively becoming walking, talking billboards for the campaign for the 30 days of November.

We’re also releasing a special remix of ‘Fire Up A Flare’ which you can download for as little as 15p with all proceeds going to Movember.

On Friday 30th November we are hosting a very special event in the centre of Brighton.

The ‘Movember Party’ will see attendees saying goodbye to their Mo’s with a professional barbers shave inside the cosy hub of the New York Coffee Club. There will be live acoustic acts throughout the evening featuring; Half Hour Hotel, Jamie Stanley and Rachel Hawker

Hey Everyone

We’re very excited to announce that we will be back in YellowFish Studios early October recording the single ‘Run From Sirens’, the song has been a regular in the live set and has always been gratefully received.

Recording and engineering the session will be Pete Hutchings and Edd Hartwell of London Studio Engineers.
You may not have heard of Pete and Edd, but you would have heard of the people they have worked with: Florence & The Machine, Ed Sheeran Matt Cardle, Cheryl Cole, Lady Gaga, Mystery Jets, Kylie Minogue, The Kooks. Now they can add Half Hour Hotel to that list!

There will be an accompanying video for the single which will be directed by Jem Gerrard (whose credits include Ringo Starr, and Linkin Park).

Hello Hoteliers!

Its been a busy couple of months for us.

After our incredible album launch party we went on tour and had a great couple of weeks, culminating in playing to a packed Pavilion Theatre in Brighton.

We were then asked to play the Camden Crawl. We have been fans of the Crawl for years and it was an honour to be asked to perform at the 3-day new-music festival.

In the upcoming weeks we’re heading back to the studio to record an acoustic EP and then you’ll be able to catch us at some shows over the summer including a few festivals too. (Details to be updated on our gigs page, when full line-ups have been announced).

In the meantime we hope to see you at our next Brighton show on the 31st May at The Hydrant.
