Here you’ll experience the joined passion for atmospheric and infectious melodies. Influenced by bands with ‘big’ sounds such as Muse, Elbow, Sigur Ros and Foregone Conclusion, the band started writing and recording demos back in 2009 as ‘Lostaura’. Honing their energy with an atmospheric and melodic sound, Half Hour Hotel formed in Brighton in November 2011.
Led by David McCormack (Vocals, Piano, Doom Bar) with Lewis Adams (Lead Guitar, Lager), Kevin Anderson (Bass, Cider) and David Jackson-Mayo (Drums, Lager sometimes Cider), Half Hour Hotel can be seen touring their self titled debut EP throughout the UK in 2012.
